Description
The Yarraville Gardens tea towel by Kerrie Gottliebsen celebrates the beautiful gardens on the corner of Hyde Street and Somerville Road Yarraville.
The vibrant tea towel is a beautiful linen-cotton blend and includes a hanging hook. It can be used to dry the dishes, or hung as striking wall art, or framed using magnetic hanging systems. They are 45cm x 65cm and the matching cardboard packaging can be cut out and displayed as an A5 print.
The iconic gardens are just a short walk from the heart of Yarraville Village. Locals and visitors alike love the leafy retreat for a tranquil place unwind.
With wide lawns, heritage trees, and plenty of shady spots, it’s a perfect place for a picnic, a kick of the footy, or simply stretching out with a book. The gardens also feature a well-loved off-leash area for dogs. There are winding paths for walking or jogging, and a children’s playground that makes it a go-to spot for families.
On weekends, it’s not unusual to see community cricket matches, yoga groups, and gatherings under the rotunda, giving the park a relaxed and welcoming vibe.
I’ve enjoyed a few picnics in the park – highly recommend!
The Yarraville Gardens artwork by Kerrie Gottliebsen can also be ordered in A4, A3, A2, A1 and the super enormous A0.
